Maintenance Electrician
We are seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing changeover/replacement works based on client asset lifecycle program schedules at multiple facilities across Melbourne.
The role involves urgent, routine and ad-hoc maintenance, repairs and inspections on client premises and equipment as directed by the company. You will also undertake LED lighting upgrades as required.
You will work autonomously or in a team environment for large or small project works, undertaking and recording PRA and Job Safety Analysis prior to commencement of tasks.
Liaising closely with key stakeholders and C&W staff to ensure they are aware of any disruption to services by any works undertaken is a key aspect of this role.
Effective Key Performance Indicators must be managed effectively, including response times, safety, compliance and financial performance of all job numbers assigned to you.
A competitive salary is offered for this role, approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant trade qualification and minimum 4 years' maintenance experience as a Licenced Electrician.
You will also have electrical maintenance and building services experience working within hospital environments, schools and potentially Vic Prisons.
A Dali Lighting certification is highly desired, as is an Air Conditioning Licence and Construction White Card EWP Licence/High risk Boom Licence Working at heights trained Australian Police Clearance Check Working with children's check Valid Manual Driver's Licence Own hand tools fit for purpose; specialised tools provided by company.
You will be able to work comfortably within a Maximum-Security correctional facility.
