The Role
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations, facilities management, and risk compliance for a portfolio of retail centres. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will assist in optimising asset performance, managing service contracts, and ensuring an exceptional customer and tenant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the delivery of facilities and building management functions across the portfolio.
2. Support the implementation of preventative maintenance and capital works programs.
3. Manage service contracts, contractor compliance, and KPI deliverables.
4. Oversee purchase orders, invoicing, and procurement tasks.
5. Ensure compliance with WHS, fire safety, and risk management regulations.
6. Support sustainability initiatives, including waste management and solar projects.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders, tenants, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations.
8. Assist in tenancy coordination, fit-out approvals, and essential services compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience in facilities coordination, trade or building services, ideally within retail shopping centres.
2. Strong understanding of building systems, WHS requirements, and contractor management .
3. Proven ability to manage projects, operational budgets, and compliance requirements.
4. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and building maintenance systems .
6. A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
7. Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle for site visits.
