About the Role:We have an exciting parental leave position available until April 2026 for a Marketing Content Design Coordinator in the Marketing & Content Operations Team.The Marketing & Content Operations Team governs and manages customer-facing content to build trust and enhance customer experiences. As part of this team, the Marketing Content Design Coordinator is responsible for planning, designing and delivering content experiences focused on water education and conservation to inspire behaviour change and build brand connections with our customers. You'll work closely with a range of subject matter experts and digital, media and marketing specialists to plan content and implement our content optimisation roadmap and strategy. Our services are essential for life - everyday, millions of Western Australians rely on us to deliver and manage water across our state.If you’re driven to make a meaningful contribution, you’ve come to the right place.What you can expect with this roleIn collaboration with the Social Media Marketing Coordinator, you’ll manage and create annual and quarterly content plans and turn them into reality to support our business strategy and drive behaviour change in customers.Champion content best practice and our customers’ needs through the business and build positive stakeholder relationships that foster knowledge sharing to support effective content planning and delivery.You’ll work closely with other content coordinators and designers in your team to deliver content plans and explore visual content opportunities to simplify information and improve engagement.Ensure all published brand and marketing content follows user experience principles and digital methodologies, is optimised for search, and is consistent with the brand, writing and digital style guides.Utilise customer insights and analytics e.g. Voice of Customer, CVS, web insights and systems data to identify customer information needs and understand pain points, for continuous content improvement.Liaise with agencies and external production partners to gather additional insights that will shape content outcomes and provide our business stakeholders with recommendations.Monitor and review brand and marketing content on the website and identify areas of optimisation and improvement to make recommendations towards the strategic development of the website.You’ll chair our Content Planning Group sessions and engage with relevant stakeholders regularly to improve content collaboration and creation - to finalise content plans, align content production activity and agree on key milestones.Your skills and experienceThere are a few things that we’ll look for in your CV.You have copywriting and editing skills together with the digital knowledge to produce engaging content that incorporates digital publishing best practice. You know good content isn’t just about good grammar and spelling but also about creating engaging experiences that support customer needs and business goals. You’re well known for your collaborative approach and ability to develop relationships both with your business stakeholders and external agencies while using your digital and content skills to advocate best content practices.Skills and experience:Tertiary qualification in marketing, content marketing, communications, business or a related discipline.Considerable experience in content management and planning and content processes and applications.Ability to translate business goals, stakeholder needs and feedback into actionable steps and recommendations to deliver content and content experiences with impact.Relevant experience in communicating complex issues effectively to a diverse range of audiences.High focus on collaboration, especially in cross functional teams, working across multiple projects.Strong ability to produce and edit content to meet customer information needs and tell a compelling brand story.Highly organised and astute with the ability to prioritise competing workloads.Familiarity with content management system and workflow management tools & Web Content Accessibility Guidelines highly regarded.Sound like a match?
