About the Role
Our Capability team are on the lookout for our next champion Team Leader - Retail Learning to support BOQ Group on a 12-month Maximum Term Contract to achieve strong operational excellence, customer experience, business performance and risk/regulatory adherence across our Retail Brands.
Our Team Leader will be responsible for building, embedding, executing, and continually refining learning experiences that align with the Retail Capability Framework. This includes creating and delivering onboarding programs, upskill initiatives, performance support tools, and role transition programs.
Additionally, the Team Leader will lead a small team of capability specialists, guiding and mentoring them to ensure the effective implementation of these learning experiences, you will also be responsible for facilitating workshops, training sessions, and other learning activities to ensure effective knowledge transfer and skill development.
You’ll create detailed content briefs and storyboards for various capabilities, working closely with the Learning Design team to develop learning content. This content can range from instructor-led training and facilitation guides to leader-led training, user guides, SOPs, playbooks, infographics, SupportPoint pages, and e-learning modules.
Additionally, you’ll consult with subject matter experts across the bank to address small to medium change requests, determining the most appropriate learning interventions.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have strong information and communication design skills that facilitate effective knowledge transfer and understanding.
Your experience in learning and development will be crucial, enabling you to create impactful training programs and resources. Using your experience in reviewing existing programs with a fresh L&D lens, you will create meaningful learning experiences that drive engagement and growth. Your internal consulting skills are well developed, enabling you to manage a large volume of diverse tasks through to completion.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate systems thinking capabilities, allowing you to distinguish training needs from other requirements such as process improvement, system design, communication, and change management.
Additionally, you have intermediate instructional design skills, including video production, e-learning, assessment creation, and classroom facilitation. Your classroom facilitation skills are also well honed.
