About the Role
As a key member of the HR team your client group will be regional Queensland focused and therefore will require you to be onsite however flexible and hybrid work arrangements will be available. As the Senior Human Resource Advisor, you will join a high-performing team to deliver top-notch HR services, providing Business Partner level support. Your focus on aligning operational solutions with the HR strategy, addressing workforce challenges, and managing complex HR / WR issues will be critical. Influence employee engagement, navigate potential risks, and champion continuous improvement. Your success in this multi-faceted role hinges on building strong relationships and fostering open communication with stakeholders to ensure HR services drive tangible business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for enforcing safety standards and operating procedures;
* Contribute to the development of business strategy by helping to identify, prioritise and implement appropriate HR interventions;
* Understands broader HR plan and is able to align team goals;
* Supporting workforce planning in line with business strategy;
* Performance management and support people managers through appropriate channels;
* Actively influence and gain cooperation of others in the business through the development of strong relationships;
* Champion change initiatives;
* Become a trusted advisor, providing guidance on policies, EAs, contracts, awards and legislation;
* Case Management of complex HR or IR issues;
* Provide coaching, advise and support to leaders and broader HR team;
* Travel to site required.
About You
To be successful in the role you will have a degree qualification in Human Resources Management or related discipline, or equivalent experience. You will ideally have a minimum five years Human Resources/ Workplace Relations Experience and have proven track record of delivering high quality workplace investigations. Ideally you would have experience working in a unionised heavy industry environment and be comfortable interpreting workplace legislation and industrial instruments. You will enjoy building trusted relationships with all level of stakeholder and be an excellent problem solver.
