Description ACC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager – Logistics to lead and optimise our supply chain processes. This critical role ensures the efficient flow of goods and materials, overseeing inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, improve efficiencies, and uphold our commitment to quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Team Management Provide strong leadership and direction to the Logistics Team. Offer guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance and productivity. Set clear expectations, conduct performance evaluations, and address performance issues. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork. Inventory Management Oversee stock control, conducting regular audits and managing replenishment. Implement inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels and reduce costs. Work with purchasing and production teams to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory replenishment. Maintain accurate inventory tracking systems and documentation. Transportation & Distribution Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost optimisation. Manage relationships with transportation providers and negotiate service agreements. Monitor transportation performance, track shipments, and address delays proactively. Optimise distribution routes and transport modes for efficiency. Warehouse & Environment Management Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper handling, storage, and security of inventory. Implement best practices for warehouse layout and organisation. Improve warehouse processes using technology and automation solutions. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in logistics operations and develop improvement initiatives. Use data analysis and KPIs to monitor performance and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance to streamline processes. Leverage technology to improve accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
