About the role:
Reporting to the Sonographer Manager, your role will support the coordination and delivery of Ultrasound services provided by our sonographers to meet the expectations of our clinicians, referring doctors and patients. You will also implement and oversee the curriculum for our Sonographer Trainees and organise education, training and upskilling across the Sonographer group. You will act as an advisory to help and support the Ultrasound business to implement systems to minimize risk, ensure compliance and ensure accreditation of all sonographers is maintained.
Ideally you will bring the role:
* Tertiary qualifications in a health science or related discipline
* Post Graduate qualification in ultrasonography
* ASAR (Australian Sonographer Association Registry) Membership
* RANZCOG certification to perform Nuchal Translucency scans
* Demonstrated skills in all facets of obstetric and gynaecological scanning
* Demonstrated Leadership experience or capability with a sound understanding or creating individual development plans
* Competency to manage difficult conversations, and quickly develop patient rapport
* Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and the ability to work autonomously and be self-driven
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities effectively
