APS 5 Graphic Designer This is an exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Engagement Section within a Federal Government Central Agency's Communications Branch.
You'll be part of a collaborative, multi-skilled team delivering creative solutions across internal and external communications, media, and web platforms.
Offered as an initial 12-month non-ongoing contract or Section 26 temporary transfer, this Canberra based role requires Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain or hold a Baseline Security Clearance.About the RoleAs a Graphic Designer, you'll bring your creativity and technical expertise to: Design publications, infographics, banners, and social media graphics.
Deliver WCAG 2.2 compliant designs for digital and print projects.
Apply and manage branding guidelines to produce professional, high-impact work.
Work collaboratively with other Graphic Designers and report to the EL1 Communications Manager.
Our Ideal CandidateWe're looking for someone who is: Qualified in graphic design or a related field.
Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
Experienced in creating accessible documents and long-form typesetting.
Skilled in managing branding and delivering innovative, user-focused design solutions.
A confident communicator with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver on time.
