The Palliative Care Service offers consultative advice to various units across Alfred Health.
A Locum Fractional Specialist is required to join the Palliative Care Consultancy Service, providing backfill support for sabbatical leave from 24 March 2025 to 28 September 2025.
This position involves varied work and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
Key responsibilities include participation in an outpatient clinic, supervision of junior staff, and inpatient care.
On-call duties and travel between campuses may be necessary.
Requirements
* Licenced medical practitioner registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
* Formal training in palliative care
* Desirable: acute hospital experience and knowledge in Palliative Care Medicine
