Veolia has new openings for experienced Diesel Mechanics and Mechanical Trade Assistants. Working in a close-knit, motivated team in Welshpool, you will service, maintain and repair our modern heavy vehicle fleet to ensure that all vehicles work to maximum efficiency in a safe, environmentally sound manner in line with regulatory and Veolia standards. What's on offer $56 per hour base. What you'll be responsible for To service, maintain and repair plant, equipment, and fleet vehicles in a timely manner.Complete scheduled daily work tasks as directed by the Workshop Supervisor in an efficient and timely manner.Complete work orders and part requisitions daily and in full.Record, monitor stock and part levels and advise any discrepancies. What you'll need to be successful Australian recognised heavy vehicle mechanical trade qualification (for tradesperson roles).HR truck licence or be willing to obtain upon employment.A willingness to learn and upskill.Proven mechanical knowledge and experience.Integrity and a positive attitude.Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management.Motivation to learn and grow within a team environment.Respectful and a team player.
