We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Regional Development and Engagement Manager. This role will be accountable for integrating with the community to lift the digital capability within Regional Western Australia. This role requires the Person to be based in Regional Western Australia – Southwest region ONLY.
A bit about your role
The nbn Regional Development and Engagement Manager will establish and foster relationships with key influential communities & business stakeholders to maximize nbn’s brand and reputation within the region. You are to develop and execute a local territory strategy which aims to drive residential and business engagement with the nbn. You will lead the assigned region and coordinate with the region’s Community Ambassador to implement the strategy.
In this role, you will leverage relationships to encourage participation in the nbn programs focused on lifting the digital capability. You are an advocate and the Voice of the Customer (VOC) into nbn sharing insights for issues or opportunities related to nbn performance within the region. Finally, you will drive engagement with regional stakeholders to strengthen emergency response relationships, participate in relevant forums to improve emergency preparedness and respond where required to support communities.
A bit about you
Ideally the successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in public relations, marketing or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in senior roles involving complex external stakeholder management and business development preferably within a regional, rural or remote community setting.
You have proven track record in applying highly developed influencing and negotiation skills across cross-functional teams and have the demonstrated ability to work towards a common vision. Advanced communication skills and the ability to professionally engage with and present to senior regional community, business, industry audiences and respond to a range of stakeholders including the media are essential.
