A tier 3 commercial fit out - repeat business client is seeking an ambitious and driven Contract Administrator, who is looking to show their value and skill on Commercial government projects up to $10 million. This role is suited for a focussed performer looking to fast track to Project Manager.

They over perform for their clients, driving and delivering short and long term projects from $1 million to $10 million and enjoy working to challenging deadlines and intricate project detail.

The Role:
With high commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills and a sheer passion for your work you will be required to work well autonomously, but also well within a team, communicating effectively with the Director’s and designated Project Manager daily.
You will be focussed negotiator, managing the financial aspects of sub-contract packages for Mixed Commercial, Residential or Fit Out Projects over $1 million AUD.
Key Responsibilities:
* Progress claim assistance, external variations, preparation of subcontractor packages.
* Reviewing, negotiating, and finalising subcontracts.
* Administering RFI’s.
* Preparing subcontract package’s (scopes, procurement and scheduling).
To be Successful:
* You will be a CA and have over 3 year’s plus experience working for a reputable Australian recognised Builder on mixed projects over $1 million ideally commercial Fit out's and refurbishments.
* Have worked for an Australian Recognised Building Contractor.
* Degree qualified in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
* High exposure to head contract work and scopes.
* Experience in sub contract claims, variations, EOT’s and cost planning.
* Passionate person, with a thirst for challenge and energy to over achieve.
* Proficient in software packages, MS project (must have PROCORE experience)
* Clear detailed writing skills.
* Can minute projects minutes
* Has experienced in forecasting and budget reports
* Converse with confidence
* Is a team player
* Can explain clearly to contractors what they require.
* Has negotiation skills
* The right CA will understand that sometimes you need to stay back to get the work done, but as a smaller builder with family commitments also, their is flexibility and understanding around working arangements also.
