Irrewarra bakery is seeking an experienced artisan sourdough Baker with a level of skill commensurate with the qualification and experience of Cert III (2 years of on the job training) specifically in artisan bread baking (or at least 3 years relevant experience). Experience required includes hand molding doughs, mixing dough, scoring loaves and loading freeform bread into a deck oven. Job Tasks include: checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with OHS regulations checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread emptying, cleaning and greasing trays, tins and other cooking equipment The work is permanent full-time, and you are required to live locally in the postcode 3249-3250. Rostered shifts across 7 days including evening work. work on public holidays also required.
