Reporting to the Head of Client Management and Fund Compliance, in this role you will be responsible for leading the effective and efficient completion of business administration tasks across Managed Fund Services (MFS). The role includes leadership responsibilities to engage and inspire high performance across three direct reports. Additionally, you will be required to join the team and play a pivotal role in improving and automating business processes within the Responsible Entity Services Team. As a key member of the team, you will conduct in-depth analysis of current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to optimise workflows. You will also be responsible for the delivery and project management of key business initiatives which are strategic to the growth of the RE business such as business augmentation and managing key service providers. About the Role Maintain data integrity to create a single source of truth across administration and project items Coordinate Compliance Plan audit activities with auditors and internal teams Oversee cost apportionment and invoicing for recovery of costs Facilitate the policy and procedure review timetable Maintain and update project files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility Track and report on progress against Managed Fund Services project priorities Continuous review of quality Identify inefficiencies and propose business process improvements Deliver recommendations for business process and team efficiency Project management of: Regulatory change (business impact analysis coordination) Policies and procedures review timetable FI/FE system enhancement Responsible Entity Services Roadmap Any other activity where project management support is required. About you We’re looking for someone with a can-do mindset, a continuous improvement mentality. Ideally you are a self-starter with the ability to own end to end accountability of operational deliverables. In addition, the ideal candidate: MUST have worked in financial services for at least 3 years and ideally have worked in an outsourced Responsible Entity model for at least 2 years MUST have strong knowledge of the managed funds industry including fund documents and fund operations MUST have strong background in business process analysis, process improvement and workflow optimisation A good understanding of Trusts At least 3 years’ experience in leading people or mentoring Ability to manage stakeholders (including external stakeholders such as administrators, service providers and investment managers) Ability to work in an agile manner and operate effectively under high pressure High level of written and verbal communication.
