Only if the position cannot be filled with an eligible candidate, will Curtin consider other applicants.About This OpportunityThe School of Design & Built Environment is looking to strengthen its capacity and leadership in education by appointing 5x Continuing Academics. These appointments will be at the levels of Associate Lecturer (ALA) and Lecturer (ALB) for teaching-focused positions. We seek individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality, modern, and innovative teaching. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in how their teaching aligns with:interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary practices in design and the built environment,supporting students, colleagues, community members, and policymakers in pursuing 'just' sustainability, andincorporating the language, culture, and pedagogical traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.The School's teaching emphasizes sustainable environments, design thinking, and practice-based excellence. We currently have openings in the following disciplines, and applicants should have expertise in at least one of these areas:ArchitectureInterior ArchitectureUrban and Regional PlanningConstruction ManagementAnimation and Game DesignAssociate Lecturer (ALA) or Lecturer (ALB) Full-time (part-time will be considered).
