The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a Product Adoption Change Manager to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security. About the Business Unit Technology Solutions and Data Security is delivering the Data and Digital Reform Agenda, which focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes. Technology Services and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and overseas the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex. About the Role The Product Adoption Change Manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This role will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance. The Product Adoption Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilisation and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organisation to increase benefit realisation, value creation, return on investment and the achievement of results and outcomes. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: Advanced understanding of contemporary Human Resources and/or Organisational Change Management practice to develop an Organisation Change Management strategy and consulting model within a complex Information & Communication Technology environment. Experience in applying the principles and intervention strategies of Organisational Change Management resulting in improvement of the functioning of individuals, teams, and the total organisation. Understanding continuous improvement methodologies and their implementation into organisations. Significant experience in a senior business management role responsible for the delivery of people, change and/or organisational activities. Tertiary qualifications in ICT or a business discipline or preferably both would be highly regarded. Certification in Prosci or equivalent People change management methodology.
