The Opportunity: We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as soon as possible.For this role you will need to hold a forklift license Role: Operations Supervisor – Full TimeLocation: Dubbo NSWSalary: (Negotiable based on experience) The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to: Reporting to the Operations Managers on a daily basis. You will be responsible for all day to day service requirements in compliance with all relevant statutes by providing leadership to achieve safe and effective production.You will be a strong part in a dynamic team ensuring the success of our waste management contract. You will need to have great leadership skills and be highly motivated ensuring tasks requested by Contractors are completed in a very effective time frame. This is a quality that we strongly believe is what separates Sam's Waste Management apart from our competitors.You will need to plan and organise the staff to do the jobs that have been booked in on a day-to-day basis, along with all paperwork to report the jobs actioned back to management, so that invoicing can be completed in a timely manner and no work will be missed.Liaising with the customer and meeting their requests in the quickest time frame will be a must, along with communication on all aspects of where and what time frames you see the job being completed in so the customer is aware we are well prepared.You will be in charge of actioning our workplace Health and Safety management system by making sure all procedures are followed correctly. Your role requires you to oversee that staff are following all rules set by Sam's Waste Management are adhered too at all times or corrective action reports be placed. In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:Provide or be prepared to undertake a National Police Clearance Certificate.Provide and be prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical test including a drug test.Prepared to undergo induction procedures for site clearance.A high level of understanding for safe work practices relevant to the industry.Previous employment references. Reliability.Exceptional work ethic.Manoeuvring vehicles into position for testing and maintenance pre start checks.General working knowledge of all types of vehicles.Observing safety requirements when out on the mine roads and around mine site.Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely. Completed daily planning sheets are expected to be done.
