What you'll do
4. Support our internal teams, particularly Facilities Management and Construction - as Woolworths’ knowledge expert for HVAC systems. Addressing RFIs, issuing engineering advisory bulletins, supporting continual education through masterclasses, engagement with installation teams.
5. Manage relationships with Construction Field Engineers & Project Managers in supporting the interpretation of store HVAC design intent and identifying solutions where challenges arise on site. Assessing field feedback with a view to continual product quality (suppliers) and system design (installers) improvement.
6. Collaborate with the Standards Team ensuring the Woolworths HVAC Specification is kept current to the business’s needs, reflect best practice manufacturing standards and continues to serve its function as prescriptive specification for procurement, Quality Assurance, safety and compliance purposes.
7. Support Property in developing and executing strategies for HVAC assets with a focus on optimised life cycle outcomes.
8. Develop networks and strategic partnerships with key technology providers, consultants and education institutions.
9. Embrace the Woolworths Ways of Working by putting the Customer First, Always Improving, working end-to-end as One Team, encouraging freedom within a framework and keeping things simple - especially for store teams.
What you'll bring
10. Bachelor degree (Washington Accord recognised) qualifications in engineering and qualify for registration with state based or national professional body of engineers
11. Extensive experience in a HVAC engineering role preferably in a design capacity (plant design, installation and
12. An understanding of the National Construction Code (particularly Section J), applicable Australian and International Design Standards and codes of practice.
13. Project management skills, project evaluation models and financial skills, documentation and implementation management.
14. Ability to present complex issues to senior management in an easily understood way and facilitate decision making processes.
