The successful person will need to be able to demonstrate:
1. Demonstrated ability to apply a high level of health system and stakeholder knowledge, critical thinking and expertise to the development of novel solutions to complex state-wide health policy challenges.
2. Demonstrated understanding of the principles of knowledge, research and technology translation into clinical settings, including high-level scientific literacy, knowledge synthesis, exchange, dissemination, application and impact.
3. Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage organisational change.
4. Demonstrated ability to provide high-level and effective written and oral communication, consultation, negotiation and problem-solving skills at a senior level, and to manage client and stakeholder relationships in an environment of change.
5. Demonstrated ability, in-depth knowledge and/or experience of identifying, implementing, and adopting translational research into practice would be advantageous.
6. Experience in Queensland Health or another complex decentralised and experience working with clinicians are desirable.
