: Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate's (EPSDD) People and Capability Branch are seeking an experienced work health and safety leader to join our Safety and Wellbeing team.
Reporting to the Director, Safety and Wellbeing, the role of Assistant Director, Work Health and Safety (WHS) supports the ongoing administration and implementation of our corporate work health and safety management system, delivers wellbeing programs, and promotes psychosocial safety in the workplace.
The Assistant Director WHS takes a leading role in investigating non-operational safety incidents, creating and updating policies and procedures, supporting WHS training, and co-ordinating WHS Committees and the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) network.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
1. Tertiary qualifications work health and safety and/or risk management (Cert IV, Diploma) is desirable.
2. Completed ICAM training is desirable.
3. Internal Auditor Training (ISO 19011:2018) is desirable.
4. Driver licence is desirable.
Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
