Receptionist and Customer Service Officer
The Receptionist and Customer Service Officer will act as the first point of contact for the Batchelor campus, providing administrative support across the institute. Key duties include greeting guests, welcoming people who visit the campus, coordinating front-desk activities, and distributing correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for the department assisting with or redirecting enquiries and issues to relevant staff.
* Provide administration assistance to the Deputy Chief Executive Officers.
* Maintain stationery supplies and undertake routine administrative processes.
* Provide high-level secretarial and administrative assistance as required.
* Meet and greet a diverse range of clients including visiting dignitaries, Ministerial officers, and senior military representatives.
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams.
* Able to undertake a range of administrative and secretarial duties using computer applications.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
* Organisational and coordination skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
* Ability to converse confidently with diverse clients and stakeholders.
* Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and practices.
This position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only. The successful candidate will have a Certificate II in Business Administration or equivalent qualification. Fixed tenure until 4th August 2025.
