Tyremax is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands, and we are in pursuit of a results-driven BDM, who has the "know how" to source and secure new customers, and care for existing customers, to join the Hobart Branch Sales team.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you have the opportunity to use your expertise to form and develop new business relationships and make your mark in growing the business. Ideally, you will have strong B2B industrial / parts / distribution market experience and enjoy being on the road. You'll be provided with the tools of the trade, including a new dual cab Ute, laptop, and mobile phone.
ResponsibilitiesProven ability to identify potential customers and then form, develop and maintain strong account relationships.Strong track record in sales and business development and the ability to plan and implement sales strategies.Organised and effective team player.Proven track record in achieving KPIs.Outstanding customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills.Strong computer literacy and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.Tyre product and industry knowledge will be highly regarded.In addition to having a professional attitude to your work, you will have a flexible and collaborative working style. At times you will be required to support and be part of the Internal Sales team, assisting them by:
Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales and following up on previous enquiries or quotes.Responding to customer enquiries regarding product information, pricing, availability, delivery schedules and back orders.Accurately processing and keying in sales orders and quotes.If you are looking for a role that will offer variety and the opportunity to work for a market leader in the tyre industry, this is the job for you.
