The nature of compliance is rapidly evolving in Australia, and Safetrac is positioned as the leading provider of an ever-increasing list of compliance courses on its web-based platform. The pandemic has created an enormous increase in demand for our product, which when combined with our ever-evolving platform, has created the need for us to recruit four (4) new savvy and proactive Business Development Managers who back themselves to strategically identify and approach new contacts to either win new clients or grow existing accounts.Four (4) Roles 2 X External New Business Development (selling to new clients)2 X Internal Business Development Managers (selling to existing clients) These people will be paired with 2 key existing Account Managers who manage and retain our current clients. Your role will be to onsell/upsell products and services to new departments, contacts and participants within those clients. Using your consultative selling skills, you will identify, educate and introduce prospective customers to grow our annual and recurring revenue. In return, you will be paid a generous salary with attainable bonus and commission scheme that rewards attainment of quarterly and annual goals, with accelerators for over-achievement. Responsibilities The primary role of our Business Development Managers is to introduce prospective contacts to Safetrac’s products and services. Your role will focus on developing effective processes to identify, approach and educate contacts to increase sales. Your primary KPI will be to meet your quarterly and annual sales targets. Associated tasks will include:Contacting potential contacts to develop relationships and salesDeveloping assigned territories/portfolios and improving sales methodologiesDemonstrating (online and face-to-face) Safetrac’s Learning Management System to prospectsPreparing and delivering proposals and pitchesNegotiating contract termsEnsuring all data in our CRM is accurate and up-to-dateCollaborating and communicating with Key Account Managers and our Client Services team on strategyProviding meticulous handovers and record keeping when transferring clients or information to other departmentsAchieving and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Safetrac’s platform and growing list of courses and toolsBecoming a subject around the regulations and industry news impacting companies in your territory/sectorOccasional interstate travelDesirable Attributes, Skills, Experience and Qualification Innate drive to succeedDemonstrated achievement in new B2B sales. Alternately we would consider a business savvy lawyer/ compliance/ risk professional looking for a change in direction into consultative sellingExperience in technology or SaaS sales - bonus points if you have worked in law, HR, L&D or Risk horizontalsExcellent verbal, written, numerical and presentation skillsHigh level of emotional intelligenceGenerally, tech-savvy across a range of standard business tools such as Office365, CRMs and Video Conference platformsWhile an understanding of training and/or compliance will be highly regarded, we will consider a demonstrated ability to learn new topics and content quicklyAn enquiring mind and problem-solving skills that lead to better ways off educating, presenting, selling, recording and reportingAttention to detail – Safetrac is not selling widgets. Solutions and agreements are highly variableSolid understanding of legal contracts and how to negotiate themUndergrad degree is required.
