Job SummaryThe Associate Director Sales ANZ is responsible for developing and driving the Enterprise regional sales within the Finance, Risk and Compliance space to achieve overall business targets. You will develop the sales strategies across the core business segment - OneSumX (Finance, Risk and Regulatory solutions) to achieve ambitious growth targets.In this exciting role, the successful candidate will possess a strong focus on the day-to-day operations performance of the sales whilst at the same time, monitoring the horizon for opportunities to enhance the way the organisation builds pipeline, and generates high levels of new sales opportunities, both within new segments and by growing a share of wallet within existing clients within ANZ.Given the growth orientation of the WK business in ANZ, this role is instrumental in developing and executing a highly differentiated and compelling go-to-market plans across the region.This is a complex role that requires both a market development, revenue retention focus plus a substantial understanding of shaping future product roadmap and marketing tactics.Along with the Sales Director APAC, this role will own the responsibility for being the face of WK OneSumX in ANZ, ensuring the WK brand and segment product remains relevant and compelling to our clients and prospects.Excelling in the role requires a strong commitment to the overall success of the business with an ability to balance the management of tactical execution and operational excellence whilst keeping abreast of the changing market needs, adapting strategic GTM plans to meet current and emerging customer demand across a broad set of market segments.This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.Responsibilities:Strategic Sales PlansDesign, develop and continually refine the strategic sales plan for the organisation across the region to ensure the achievement of new sales and revenue retention targets.Business PerformanceBuild, inspire and lead the sales organisation to achieve the short- and medium-term plans; participate with the Sales Group to achieve corporate financial and sales and revenue.Anchor Sales OperationsEstablish a robust set of business activities and processes that enable a sales organization to run effectively, efficiently and in support of business strategies and objectives (sales metrics analysis, forecasting analysis, evaluation of sales methodologies, sales excellence training – product, onboarding to name a few).Ensure the CRM is being used effectively and provides a competitive advantage.Sales forecasting and reportingDeploy a scientific approach to modelling sales funnel metrics to provide highly accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts.Communication:Coordinate the delivery of messages to drive both internal and external awareness, understanding and consideration of the WK product offerings and value propositions.Market Insight and new product developmentSupport the Product team by acting as the voice of the customer to ensure WK continues to create compelling solutions aimed at differentiating from competitors and delivering quantifiable benefits to clients.Functional InterlockEstablish and maintain a seamless connective and collaborative relationship with key groups such as Segment Directors, Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Customer Support and Finance to ensure financial targets are met.About You:Relevant tertiary qualifications - Preferably a degree in Finance/Business.Previous experience working as a senior sales director ideally for a similar complex and global organisations within the Finance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting space.Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of high performance to business plans.Strong understanding of content sales lifecycles and market dynamics.Substantial experience in business-to-business sales, ranging from high velocity/low value to complex large-scale enterprise software sales.Positive PL track record and cost management.Exposure to enterprise software, particularly SaaS based revenue models.Strong exposure to digital marketing and social media.Strong business acumen including budget management.A preference for individuals with knowledge of risk/compliance/finance.Our ValuesWolters Kluwer continuously strives for an inclusive company culture in which we attract, develop, and retain high-performing, productive, engaged, and diverse talent to deliver on our strategy.
