We are exclusively representing a small family-owned early childhood company in the recruitment of an Area Operations Manager.

About our Client:
Our Client is a small family-owned company leading two Early Years services in Dubbo and 1 service in Orange. Our client will be growing its services to Sydney and the Central Coast in 2025. The Area Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the current team and supporting our client during its growth across NSW.

About the Role:
As the Operations Manager, you’ll be the crucial link between service directors and the broader organisational vision. Your role will include:
* Supporting and mentoring directors in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Leading community engagement initiatives and strategic planning
* Overseeing compliance, legal requirements, and audit preparations (including upcoming audits in Orange)
* Managing day-to-day operational challenges while focusing on long-term growth projects
* Coordinating the setup of new services, with a mix of office-based and remote work (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

About You:
We’re seeking someone who:
* Has a strong understanding of compliance and strategic planning within the Early Years space
* Can mentor and support directors, helping them see the big picture while managing the day-to-day
* Is an excellent communicator, able to navigate different team dynamics
* Is adaptable, with the ability to balance multiple priorities
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
* Excellent knowledge of childcare regulations, operational best practices, and financial acumen.
* Valid Working with Children's check and current driver's licence
