Lecturer - Bachelor of Sports Media and Sport Business
THE OPPORTUNITY
Salary: $103,913 to $116,383 per annum pro rata + 11.5% super + annual leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience).
Time Fraction: Part Time, 0.8 EFT.
Location: Chadstone campus.
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.
Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.
The Faculty of Higher Education is currently seeking to appoint an experienced Lecturer to develop, implement, and facilitate contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methodologies to maximize student learning outcomes within the Bachelor of Sports Media and Bachelor of Sport Business delivered at Holmesglen Institute.
Your role involves teaching and coordinating subjects within the Bachelor of Sports Media and Bachelor of Sport Business. Apply your expertise to develop, implement, and facilitate contemporary teaching methodologies, maximizing student learning outcomes.

ABOUT YOU
* High quality teaching and experience as a lecturer or course coordinator, with knowledge of current issues/developments in the Higher Education and VET sectors.
* Demonstrated understanding of contemporary tertiary teaching and learning methodologies including undergraduate curriculum and subject delivery, assessment, and evaluation.
* Ability to establish strong links with key industry stakeholders, professional associations, and other education institutions.
* Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary issues in the sports media and/or sports business industry.
* Understanding of associated contemporary curriculum models and frameworks and the effective use of current technologies.
* Highly developed interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to effectively negotiate and work through issues constructively with staff, students, and relevant stakeholders.
