The position is in a live-in staff rostered home working within a therapeutic model of care. You will provide direct care to young people in consultation with the key care team.You will have a demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed therapeutic care to assist in de-escalating and responding to critical incidents with the young person.You will have experience in dealing with children and young people (various ages from 0-18 years) with 'complex needs and behaviours' and the ability to therapeutically manage these behaviours.You will implement, monitor, and review individual therapeutic and goal plans.You will be available to work a 24/7 rotating roster which may include days, evenings, sleepovers, and weekends.Remuneration: SCHADS Level 3, $46.69 - $50.06 per hour inclusive of casual leave loading. This position is Casual.About youYou will have substantial experience and demonstrated knowledge in a similar role within the social and community services sector.You will have the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with children/young people and adults in different situations.
