Are you currently a jobseeker engaged with Workforce Australia? Are you self-managing under their online system or were self-managing in the past six months? If so we would like to hear from you about your experience.Researchers from the University of Melbourne are looking to speak with people with recent experience self-managing as part of Workforce Australia Online to hear their perspective on employment services. The aim of the study is to understand: How the new system is impacting jobseekers and their experience in seeking employment. Whether the online system offers greater flexibility and empowerment or creates new problems for its users. Which options jobseekers are choosing in order to meet their mutual obligation targets. Participation in the study involves taking part in an in-person or Zoom interview lasting up to 60 minutes, where you will be asked about your experiences as a jobseeker using Workforce Australia Online. This is an independent study, with no connection to the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, and all interviews will be anonymized to ensure people's privacy. In recognition of your valuable time, participants in the interview will receive a $50 Coles-Myer gift card. If you would like more information about the study or want to take part, please contact Dr Corey Carter at (email protected).
