Be meticulous in a quality service to ensure that all women that access the service receive evidenced based, culturally competent maternity care in a range of settings close to where they live.About the role:Deliver competent, quality direct midwifery care, within a specific area of expertise and assisting in the achievement of service goals.Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical specialty and work in collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager/Clinical Midwives to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.Effectively manage self and work with the Midwifery Group Practice team to meet unit Midwifery staff development needs.About you:Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates comprehensive Midwifery care for consumers in accordance with professional standards, validated practice which is consistent with the philosophy of Queensland health and the Central Queensland Health Service.Ability to promote evidence-based care/research and quality activities and outcomes.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $143,294 p.a.
