About this role We are looking for an experienced Civil Mobile Plant Operator to join our growing Group Assets Team based in Port Adelaide. Role Overview The Civil Mobile Plant Operator will contribute to the efficient and effective maintenance and construction of Flinders Port Holdings new and existing civil assets. Key Responsibilities Operating of civil equipment including excavators, front end loader, skid steer, tipper truck, water truck, dozer and backhoe; Working with the existing civil team to complete pavement construction, earthworks, land preparation and improvements; Pavement repairs and maintenance on existing wharf and hardstand infrastructure; Laying and undertaking repairs of water mains to SA Water specifications; and Assist in the day-to-day maintenance activities. About you Your skills and experience will include; Certificate III or trade qualification, Construction Induction Training (White Card), and valid Heavy Rigid driver's licence would all be highly regarded; Experience with civil construction equipment (e.g., excavator, backhoe, bulldozer (with relevant licence)), maintenance tooling used in concreting, water main repairs and maintenance tasks; Punctual, reliable, proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and Knowledge of South Australian WHS legislation, safety procedures (e.g., JSEAs, hazard identification), and incident reporting is essential.
