Your Role: As an Ambulance Transport Attendant with State Medical Assistance, you’ll be a key player in our Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) services, with the added opportunity to be involved in event medical work. Depending on your location, we can offer a full-time contract. Your commitment to patient care and your ability to work effectively in small teams will be essential to your success in this dynamic role. What you can expect: Based on your location, you’ll support rosters across 7 days a week, covering shifts from early mornings (6 am) to late evenings (midnight), with shift lengths varying between 8-12 hours SMA bases include Central Coast, Minchinbury, Taren Point, Unanderra and Mittagong. Ensure vehicles and equipment are always ready for action, prioritising safety and efficiency. Keep thorough records of patient care, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in every detail. What You'll Need: A Diploma in Emergency Healthcare with previous experience in pre-hospital care You’ll need to meet all compliance requirements, including a working with children check, national police check (within 6 months), a clean driving record, an unrestricted driver’s license, first aid/CPR certification, mask fit certificate, and full Category A immunizations (with annual flu shot).
