Community Caretaker - Vantage Logan Village Green We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Community Caretaker for our beautiful over 50's lifestyle community located in Logan Village. About the role Based at Vantage Logan Village Green, our Community Caretaker is vital in ensuring that the community's facilities meet our high standards and the expectations of our residents. You will be responsible for both the hands-on maintenance of community spaces and the management of contractors to ensure the community remains in excellent condition.In this role you will be responsible for:Community Maintenance: Manage and/or perform day-to-day maintenance tasks to ensure the presentation and operations of the community are maintained according to Vantage's standards, budget, and legal compliance. This includes gardening, landscaping, basic repairs, pool maintenance, and cleaning of communal areas.Identifying Critical Maintenance Issues: Proactively identify and escalate major maintenance or repair issues that require urgent attention.Asset and Equipment Management: Oversee and maintain all community assets, machinery, and equipment, ensuring they are serviced according to maintenance schedules.Contractor & Service Provider Management: Manage external contractors and service providers, ensuring they deliver quality work within the established budget.Resident Service: Provide proactive, high-quality service to homeowners, ensuring their needs are met and creating a supportive and engaging community environment. Skills and experience Previous experience in Maintenance / Community Caretaker roles preferably in LLC, Retirement Living, Holiday Parks, Property Management or related industries.Hands-on experience and ability to complete physically demanding tasks and outdoor work including garden and pool maintenance.Understanding of WHS&E requirements as relevant to management and maintenance of residential communities.Knowledge and understanding of technical systems that contract and support communities such as fire and security systems.In addition, you will have:Current valid 'class c' drivers licence.Previous trade experience or qualification (highly regarded).WHS&E Certificate or qualification (highly regarded).
