TCTS (The Concrete Testing Specialists) have an opportunity for a Field Technician Supervisor and Project Liaison manager to join our team based out of our Molendinar laboratory, servicing SEQ & Northern NSW areas. The successful applicant will fill a key role supervising, auditing, assessing, and training field technicians. We are seeking self-motivated candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who are physically fit and possess a strong work ethic.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the requirement of some weekend work.
The Role
* Ensuring full compliance with Australian Standards and NATA requirements for sampling and testing of concrete and entering true and accurate test results on an array of different construction sites from city to countryside.
* Working safely, accurately, and independently. In this role, you will be required to work on your own, communicating with colleagues, customers, and project contacts, working adaptively as the days can change.
* Assisting Laboratory technicians in carrying out compression and other strength tests on cured concrete specimens in our Molendinar Laboratory. We have a large number of clients that we test concrete for independently, and we encourage all staff to understand and assist in the daily crushing and data capture of our specimens.
* Maintaining communication with our customers by checking in on ongoing projects, existing customers, and potential new ones. Building a line of communication and trust is essential for client retention.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in the concrete industry, particularly in concrete testing and supervising.
* Physically fit.
* Queensland driver's license (manual).
* Construction white card.
