Offering Permanent Full-time positions operating in a newly developed team within Family Based Care’s My Home Care business unit.
As a Duty Direct Care Worker, you will participate in a set roster combining of three shifts (Morning, Afternoon, Evening) located in Burnie and surrounding centres from Ulverstone to Wynyard.
You will provide relief for unplanned and planned leave of field staff.
The successful candidates will provide care and support in a professional and respectful manner to a variety of people in our community living in their own homes.
To assist in the effective delivery of supports across multiple programs including NDIS and Home Care Packages.
When not deployed to the field you will be contributing to valuable office-based tasks, including Field Service Management, Coordination and Administration.
To be considered for the position you will need to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment and possess the following mandatory competencies:
* Minimum qualification of Certificate III in either Individual Support – Aged Care or Disability Support, Home and Community Care or Community Services
* Proof of Covid -19 Vaccination with Booster (2 + 1 Booster)
* Current Tasmanian WWVP card with NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
* Satisfactory National Police Check
