Events Coordinator, Event Productions, IT Services Job ID: Amazon Corporate Services Pty LtdAs part of the onsite event production team, the Event Coordinator will be the first point of contact for customers who want to use the Event Productions team services. The coordinator will provide calendar, organizational and administrative support to the Production Operations and Production Manager.The primary focus is on management of booking requests and calendar logistics for onsite venues such as Studios and Event venues, as well On and Off Campus Events and Content Production teams. The role requires the resolution of complex space logistics challenges with our largest and most impactful events, both locally and internationally.A successful candidate will be able to step seamlessly into a corporate office environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills, impeccable customer service attitude, and be energetically driven to serve our customers and the team.Key job responsibilitiesDaily scheduling of incoming event requestsMaintaining multiple venue calendarsCoordinating with various teams on resource availability and flexibilityFostering strong customer and team relationshipsLogging and basic reporting of team metricsAssisting with special projectsEffective escalation of urgent or high importance mattersObsessing over the customer experience and how to make it better BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - At least 2 years in a professional office environment, preferably within Broadcast, Marketing or Event agency- Prioritization while multi-tasking under pressure and within short time constraints- Complex calendar management experience- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Passionate about improving the customer experience- Possess a strong desire to learn new technologies, the curiosity to figure out how things work- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes- Familiarity with event support processes- Basic understanding of audio-visual systems operations
