About the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to join our manufacturing facility in Altona, on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Planning Manager, this is a functional based operational role with a primary focus on production planning and some ad hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required. This would be an ideal role for somebody who is looking to further their career in Supply Chain & Logistic Management. Key responsibilities: Maintain a high service level to customer network by ensuring accurate planning and monitoring of production Accurate forecasting to ensure production and cost efficiencies Forecasting and ordering of merchandise stock local and import Manage relationships with third party vendors both in Australia and abroad Work with Manufacturing and Warehouse Managers to achieve production efficiencies and optimize warehouse space Working with sales and manufacturing to generate scheduling models Manage inventory and freight movements to agreed levels to assist with working capital targets About You We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and has the ability to deliver results. Can build effective working relationships. Experience using SAP or similar software Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be desirable Able to work autonomously and successfully multi-task to meet deadlines High-level communication and problem-solving skills Ability to make sound decisions under pressure Attention to detail and a structured approach to work Sound like you?
