Network Support Engineer (Level 2/3)
This is a 4-month contract with potential extensions, offering a hybrid working environment in Melbourne Docklands.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join our client partner's team. As part of Green Light, a growing consulting organisation specialising in Telecommunications and System Integration Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of the network infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot Networking & Communication technology stack including SD-WAN, Switching, Routing, WiFi, DNS, Firewalling, Telephony, and supporting Network Management Toolset/Services.
* Manage incidents and break/fix of store end-user computing devices, including printers, PDTs, POS/BOS.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, available 24x7.
* Triage and resolve production issues, escalating to P1 and extended support when needed.
* Apply technology workarounds/restorations as per the issues and handover.
Requirements
* Experience with POS in retail environments.
* High-level technical skillsets in network operations and maintenance.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in networking and communication technologies.
* Ability to manage incidents and support end-user computing devices.
* Availability for 24x7 support rotational roster.
