What You’ll Do: The Sourcing Manager provides strategic lifecycle procurement management to 7-Eleven Lines of Business for direct and indirect expenditure. The role delivers value through effective strategic sourcing of third party spend. This includes developing the most effective strategies to source goods and services, engage the market and negotiate the outcome that drives financial benefits, higher levels of stakeholder satisfaction and is aligned to 7-Eleven’s strategic objectives. The role requires a deep technical understanding of sourcing process and strategies. The Sourcing Manager role specifically requires the provision of end-to-end management of sourcing initiatives and categories of supply with higher spend/complexity/risk profiles. This includes leading cross functional project teams to plan and deliver on the financial, sustainability and other targets of 7-Eleven. Lead the execution of the 7-Eleven Procurement sourcing and supplier relationship management strategy Define appropriate risk strategies, have these endorsed by the stakeholders and incorporated into the contracts Use market and industry intelligence across the portfolio of categories and provide insights which inform category management strategies and/or business opportunities Develop and maintain strong collaborative supplier relationships which produce additional value for 7-Eleven and its customers About you Extensive procurement background involving successful delivery of initiatives within a complex environment Project management and change management experience including the ability to navigate organisations and influence stakeholders Demonstrated ability to gain respect and trust and build and maintain effective business partnering relationships Compliance with policies and procedures Experience in working with external customers to develop and maintain effective vendor relationships.
