The Role The business is seeking a Town Planning Consultant with 4-7 years of experience in urban planning (preferably with experience in Victoria). The successful candidate will work independently and alongside the directors to provide expert planning services and manage significant projects across various sectors. Key Responsibilities Planning & Development Advice – Work with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored planning solutions. Planning Permits & Amendments – Lead the preparation, strategy, and management of planning applications and scheme amendments. Project & Stakeholder Management – Engage with councils, government agencies, and community stakeholders to negotiate outcomes and navigate approvals. Strategic & Commercial Planning – Provide input into feasibility studies, due diligence, and front-end project management to maximise commercial returns. Leadership & Mentorship – Support junior team members and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the business. About You To be successful in this role, you will: Have a strong background in urban planning (public or private sector) and a relevant university degree. Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with a range of stakeholders. Be commercially focused, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes. Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
