You will be at times engaging with the Director of Legal, Business Development Manager or Managing Director to deliver the Borrowers & Brokers realistic established expectations with the highest standards of quality, timeliness and compliance.Main Duties: Comprehensive assessment of any existing valuation providedRequesting a quote for a new valuation or valuation reviewConducting property and credit searchesValidating proposed client funding is within internal lending guidelinesValidating proposed exit strategyWriting and issuing letter of offer to brokerObtain, file and organise required files and validate they are relevant and acceptablePerforming full analysis on all documents and information provided regarding the assessment or settlement of the mortgage and escalating any variancesAssisting and advising broker on outstanding conditions precedent items needed to settle mortgage and their significance to enable settlementAdvising Director of Legal any complications, items requiring review or needing further attentionCorresponding to the Business Development Manager on outstanding items and any issues preventing them being obtained for the settlement to proceedGeneral observation and review of market conditions, property prices, political changes and reserve bank meetingsArranging new valuations for mortgages that are vulnerable to potential downward market movements or extensionsBi-annual assessment of analysis and settlement process, review, revise, implement and update to optimise efficiency, quality and complianceCollecting, documenting and storing relevant data around analysis and settlement of each individual mortgagePerforming updated analysis on any potential at risk mortgages every 6 months or as needed.Assisting in data recording and financial analyticsExperience (Minimum one of the below criteria must be met to apply)3-5 years experience as a mortgage credit analyst or settlement expert5+ years experience in property valuation & appraisal of all property types5 + Years experience in banking mortgage finance2 Years experience assessing / analysing complex second mortgagesPost graduate degree in financial analytics or business analytics + 3 years work experience in an unrelated finance or analytics fieldWhat is on offer. $112k + Super. + annual salary increases of 3%.Paid Study.
