About the opportunity:
Position: Clinical Nurse Consultant – Organ and Tissue Donation
Vacancy: Permanent part-time, 40 hours per fortnight
Location: Intensive Care Unit, Townsville University Hospital
Enjoy a generous remuneration package value up to $86,682 p.a. comprising:
* Salary range: $66.85 to $72.58 p.h. (NG7)
* Annual leave with 17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus options may be available
The purpose of the role is to optimise organ and tissue donation for transplantation in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) region and to facilitate the donation process in collaboration with DonateLife Queensland and the local hospital team.

Requirements:
* Mandatory qualification (Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification) and proof of registration (AHPRA).
* Possession of class C drivers' licence.
* Travel is a requirement of this position.
* Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance to the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role. Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted including criminal history clearance.
