6. Salary on offer up to $140,000/annum excluding super

Job Description:
9. The purpose of the Senior Platform Engineer’s role is to lead and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of on premise and cloud-based platforms, as well as to provide guidance in networking development and support for projects.
10. Operational Excellence and Program Delivery support the infrastructure team in the day-to-day performance of all platform environments.
Key skills, knowledge and experience includes:
11. 6+ years technology experience working in a platform support team.
12. 6+ years’ experience working in a multi-cloud platform environment.
13. Experience working in hybrid (on-premises and Microsoft Azure cloud) environments.
14. Use discretion to manage short term BAU and Project priorities.
15. Ability to understand and disseminate industry terminology and concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
16. Experience with endpoint manager tools such as SCCM and Intune Infrastructure.
17. Experience with physical server builds and administration – HP & IBM
18. Experience supporting and administering Microsoft Windows Server operating systems.
19. Commvault Backup
20. SAN Technologies
21. Avaya Telephony
22. High Level experience with networking and hybrid environments.
23. Cisco CCNA – Cisco Switches, Cisco DNA center.
24. Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, Group Policies, Azure AD, M365 administration
25. PowerShell scripting experience
26. VMware vSphere 7+ Admin experience
27. Windows Server Patching
28. ITIL and ITSM working knowledge and experience.
Education and Formal Certifications:
29. Tertiary qualifications in an IT discipline highly desired or relevant work experience
30. Relevant technology certifications across the Infrastructure landscape (Microsoft, AWS etc.).
