The Role
We are looking for a qualified Radio Technician to safely and effectively perform planned and breakdown maintenance tasks by working within a team and promoting site safety standards and ensuring the highest standards of work are conducted and maintained. Reporting to the Communications Supervisor, you will have the ability to make decisions, work to meet deadlines and possess exceptional communication skills. The roster for this role is 7 on 7 off day shift only.
The successful candidate will be responsible for: Assisting in achieving budgeted development and production KPIs by performing varied tasks.Installing and maintaining the communications systems to site and Australian Standards.Working both independently and as part of a team while demonstrating a high standard of professional workmanship.Maintaining installation and maintenance records.The successful candidate will possess: Mining experience is preferred but not essential.Experience with Telephone, Optic Fibre, Radio RF/HF, Miri, PED, Networking and impact collision avoidance systems.Experience with Automated machines.A flexible approach and adaptability to change with a high attention to detail.Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure.Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.Willingness and ability to learn new processes.Hold a current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.Experience in SAP would be an advantage or similar system.Experience in Excel would be an advantage.Applications Close: 08:00, Tuesday 10 December 2024
