About the role
Every individual in our homes has a story. You’ll get to know each one as you:
1. Lend a hand with daily life – making sure our residents feel heard, comfy and well-fed.
2. Work with our team to support those with challenging needs.
3. Help keep our residents’ bodies and minds active.
4. Keep tabs on our residents’ health – helping with treatments and providing medication under a registered nurse.
5. Be a friend to our residents.
6. Make sure every resident’s privacy and dignity is respected.
You’ll be a true team player and great communicator, with:
7. A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
8. A certificate III or IV in Aged Care - or studying Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma of Nursing or Certificate III or IV
9. Time spent working as a caregiver or similar
10. Solid clinical documentation and computer skills
