Intensive Care Specialist
Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for an Intensive Care Specialist to join our team.
The Intensive Care Specialist will be responsible for the leadership, medical management, clinical governance and provision of Specialist Intensive Care Services for patients at Latrobe Regional Hospital. The role includes training and supervision of medical and nursing staff as required. The aim of this position is to ensure the delivery of critical care services is consistent with the clinical governance framework and core values of LRH, in particular Person Centred Care.
The Critical Care Unit has full monitoring abilities with facilities for provision of all the services of Intensive Care including Invasive Cardiovascular monitoring, Mechanical Ventilation, Haemofiltration, Coronary Care services and High Dependency Services.
Our Intensive Care Specialists are supported by 24/7 Registrar coverage.

We are looking for candidates with:
6. MBBS or equivalent
7. Eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
8. Fellowship of the CICM or equivalent
9. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
