The Role
We are looking for our next star Events Head Chef to work in our fantastic events kitchen team. If you have experience working in fast paced restaurants, functions and events environments, delivering premium quality, we would love to hear from you. You will be responsible for the service of high quality food and beverages, working across the restaurant, bars, functions and events throughout the year.
This role will report directly into the Executive Chef, you will be part of the business planning, designing and decision making of the menu development and the general operation in such prestige venue.
You
1. Minimum 3 years Senior Chef experience - managing and leading a professional kitchen
2. Extensive experience working in a fast paced multi outlet environment
3. The ability to achieve business goals, financial budgets and service standards
4. Exposure in an upmarket environment - similar food quality and standards are expected.
5. Complete ability to design and cost à la carte, function, special events and canapé menus
6. Strong creativity and ability to think outside the square while coaching and developing a team
7. Managing associated kitchen costs including food and wages, recruitment of staff and general administration duties
8. Extensive knowledge and passion about food produce and quality
9. Industry standard knowledge of Health, Safety and Sanitisation procedures
