HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced APS5 level Events Officer to join a high-profile Federal Government agency located in SURRY HILLS NSW .

About the Role: In this role, you will work as part of a collaborative Events team, delivering both in-person and virtual events that support the agency's strategic objectives.
You will provide logistical coordination, stakeholder liaison and administrative support across a variety of events and forums, ensuring smooth delivery and positive experiences for all participants.
Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the event lead in the coordination of face-to-face, virtual and hybrid events, ensuring accessibility requirements are met.
Providing logistical management and advice to deliver nationally consistent engagement activities.
Preparing high-level event briefs for senior leadership and Ministerial attendees.
Managing multiple events simultaneously, including tight turnaround projects.
Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Tracking and reporting on internal and external events activity.
Monitoring budgets and maintaining financial records.
Managing and responding to enquiries through a shared inbox.

About You: We are looking for an experienced events professional with: Strong event coordination and logistical management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Ability to juggle competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in managing budgets and financial records.
Experience providing briefs and preparing documentation for senior stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
