5+ years schedule management, project control and formulating construction program, especially for infrastructure and mission critical projects both on-site and in preconstruction environments. This includes schedule management, schedule change management, schedule contingency management, schedule risk management, forecast schedule estimates, schedule progress statuses and reporting.
Experience in database administration (e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Projects) and MS Suite.
Experience developing from first principles a bottoms up schedule for large scale developments from initial concept and design development through procurement, delivery and handover.
Experience developing scheduling standards and processes, ensuring accuracy of all cost and resource-loaded P6 or Microsoft programs, including forecast and demand analysis of resources.

APJC Construction Program team is seeking a highly experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated Schedule Program Manager to innovate, manage, and create project schedule programs that improve our efficiency in the high volume and fast-paced delivery environment.
As a Data Center Construction Schedule Program Manager, you will report to the APJC Construction Program Lead to support APJC Construction Managers to reduce the delivery duration and drive the efficiency. You will work alongside partner teams such as Engineering, Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support our customers.
The Schedule Program Manager plays a key role in deploying programs, processes, and mechanisms that manage the project schedule consistency across the region. The Schedule Program Manager is ultimately responsible for developing and implementing scalable schedule control process and mechanism to support the Construction team.
This position is based in Sydney and involves regular travel (up to 25% of the time) to other locations in the region.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and maintain a centralised system for project scheduling, reporting and analytics to provide visibility into project performance across the region, including schedule contingency management, work breakdown structure, assumptions and critical path.
Support Construction Managers, and guide contractor to develop and follow a standard planned/actual progress reporting procedure in line with agreed rules of credit and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Work in collaboration with Construction Managers and contractors to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facility accuracy in project execution and reporting.
Develop mechanism to ensure that appropriate planning and compatibility of scheduling techniques and systems are implemented by Contractor to meet the projects’ milestones.
Review the baseline scheduling documentation and ensure accurate actual versus planned progress, and identify ambiguities, risks, and key issues.
Coordinate with project teams to implement schedule adjustments, reallocate resourcing and streamline processes to optimise project delivery and minimise scheduling conflicts.
Conduct regular reviews of project schedules, critical paths and dependencies to assess project risks, optimise resource allocation and mitigate schedule delays and cost overruns.
Accumulate and analyses historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting, including schedules, progress reports and resource utilization and analyse key performance indicators to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement.
Identify opportunities to standardize scheduling processes, tools and templates across projects to improve efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in project scheduling and reporting.
Provide training, guidance and support to project teams on scheduling software and processes.
A day in the life: You will be integrated with a global network of Construction professionals including Schedule Managers, Construction Managers, Program Managers, Regional Managers, and Regional Project Engineers in operational teams. You are required to foster a culture of innovation and sustainability in planning practices.
About the team
Bachelor degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management.
SQL experience highly valued.
Experience in fostering Earned Value Management approaches to measurement against plan, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Advanced knowledge and ability of developing cost and schedule control, and ability of using planning tools/systems and related tools and techniques.
Advanced knowledge in management and development of project progress and financial reporting and Schedule change management (WBS, s-curve, look ahead plans, what-if scenarios, forecast analysis etc).
