The Cold End Technician will provide electrical and mechanical technical services to the department, ensuring that machines are set up, calibrated correctly and fully functional. This includes optimising the Cold End job changes to achieve maximum quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure machines and data under your authority are analysed daily, weekly and monthly as to quality performance and corrective actions are implemented Maintain set points on machines and any other data required for their ongoing efficient operation Optimise the Cold End job changes to achieve maximum quality and efficiency Ensure maximum uptime for all machinery in the Cold End Plan and undertake Cold End job changes safely and in a manner that allows maximum performance Follow and provide feedback on MEX work orders Ensure quality is of the highest standard with no defects on products The successful applicants will: Hold an A class Electrical licence and Electrical trade qualification Have previous PLC knowledge and experience, along with Industrial Electrical experience Have strong computer literacy skills Follow and promote safe work practices Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail Be able to manage changing priorities Have excellent communication skills including the capacity to communicate quality expectations to supervisors, operators and staff #J-18808-Ljbffr
