As part of the Hamilton Island Yacht Club, our restaurant offers contemporary Australian cuisine crafted from the finest seasonal and locally-sourced produce.The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-end, fast-paced environment, with a passion for contemporary Australian cuisine and a strong understanding of seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients.Responsibilities:Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver innovative, high-quality dishes.Oversee the creation and execution of à la carte and tasting menus.Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and cost control.Collaborate with management to maintain and enhance our premium dining experience.Requirements:Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent (Essential)Current Food Safety Supervisor (Essential)Minimum 5 years' experience in Head Chef positionYou will receive:$100,000 - $120,000 per annumSubsidised furnished single staff accommodationStaff perks and discounts on venues, retail, and activitiesFantastic work culture and supportive communityEnjoy living and working on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef
